The META-NORD Acquis Parallel Treebank is a small parallel corpus of syntactically annotated translations of Directive 2002/74/EC from the Acquis Communautaire (AC), the total body of European Union (EU) law applicable in the the EU Member States. The treebank includes the EU languages Danish, English, Estonian, Finnish and Swedish as well as the non-EU languages Norwegian and Icelandic. All language pairs are aligned at sentence level. Annotations and alignment are provided by the project INESS (www.iness.uib.no) in cooperation with META-NORD (http://www.meta-nord.eu/). SOURCE TEXT (more details under "corpus info") The documents in the JRC Acquis corpus are available under the conditions stated on the JRC webpages. The versions in the non-EU languages Icelandic and Norwegian were translated by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the source texts have kindly been made available by the respective governments. | ||||||
